D2 Bearings are pleased to announce on board Gurpal Singh as our new Engineering Director, and with it give us scope for in house engineering projects.
Many of you may already know Gurpal through local business connections and within the engineering arena itself. He is now solely responsible for any Engineering projects at D2. He brings with him a wealth of knowledge over 20 years as a skilled machinist alongside a technical back ground in which to quote on any project.
Gurpal is on call 24 /7 and is available to come to onsite inspections, pick up samples for repair or remanufacture as needed.
Alongside machining, he has a background in fabrication services which he is able to bring to the table.
The Precision machine shop operates 24 hours a day, on site Monday-Friday and 24 hour on call over the weekend or holiday periods.
The Laser cut business is also available on a breakdowns basis 24 /7 should any sheet metal profiles be needed.
Services that we can offer at Precision Engineering are:
- CNC turning
- CNC milling 3,4 and 5 axis
- Driven tooling
- Surface and cylindrical grinding
- CAD CAM /3d design
- CMM and full inspection facility
- Design and prototype team
- Any batch size, from one off to large batch
We specialize in sub-contract CNC machining, general and bespoke, to drawings, samples, prototypes and design.
